Save your eyes!! 👀
Hey, Lemon8 friends!!
I know that many of you are virtual learners and/or utilize laptops, iPads, and smartphones the majority of your learning. And while these advanced technologies are amazing and incredibly useful, they can be taxing on both our eyes and minds.
Utilize your basic study techniques and think back to the way you learned in elementary school - markers, white boards, physical books, and pen and paper 📝
Remember the days of glitter pens and physical color coordinated flash cards? Why not bring them back!! It worked for generations before us, and we can make these techniques work again.
Dust off those dual-sided markers and get to work!
Xoxo

In today's digital age, prolonged screen time can lead to discomfort and fatigue for students. To mitigate these effects, consider adopting some time-tested study techniques. For example, taking regular breaks from screens can improve focus and retention rates. Involving physical methods such as writing notes by hand or using whiteboards can help consolidate information and reduce reliance on electronic devices. Utilize tools like highlighters and dual-sided markers to make the studying process more engaging. These tactile methods not only enhance creativity but also improve memory retention by stimulating different cognitive processes. Mind mapping is another effective strategy that allows students to visually organize their thoughts. By harnessing a variety of learning techniques, you can keep the enjoyment of studying alive while protecting your eyes and improving overall academic performance.
