I NEED YOUR HELP!!

I have been ginger since 2020 🤞🏻😶 and honestly it has been a journey. Isn’t easy at all to keep the 🍊 color for so long whoever had dyed this hair color will know what I’m talking about!!

Im not 100% sure about being blonde but I’ll love to try that color again (I was blonde for less than 3 months lol) it’s even harder to keep that hair color but I’m ok with expending money on that.

I love to be ginger but I’m not sure if this is something I want for ever.. what do you think?

... Read moreOh my goodness, I totally feel you on the hair color dilemma! It's such a journey, especially when you've rocked a vibrant shade like ginger for a while. The upkeep is real, and sometimes you just crave a change, right? I've been there, pondering every shade from fiery red to icy blonde, and it's tough to commit when there are so many gorgeous possibilities. Let's chat about those tempting options you're considering, especially 'ginger hair with blonde highlights' and the leap to 'ginger and blonde hair' or even full blonde. These are popular choices for a reason! Embracing Ginger Hair with Blonde Highlights (Option #1) Adding blonde highlights to your ginger hair is such a fantastic way to brighten up your look without completely abandoning your signature color. Imagine those beautiful copper tones, now kissed with streaks of blonde! It adds incredible dimension, makes your hair look thicker, and can really frame your face. I've found that this blend, especially when done with balayage or subtle babylights, gives off a super natural, sun-kissed vibe. It’s like your hair just spent a summer at the beach! My Experience & Tips: When I explored this look, I made sure to bring tons of inspo pics to my stylist. We discussed whether I wanted warm, golden blondes or cooler, ashier tones to complement my ginger. The key is finding a blonde that harmonizes with your existing color. For maintenance, a good color-safe shampoo is essential. And a weekly deep conditioning mask will keep both your ginger and blonde strands looking healthy and vibrant. It's generally less demanding than full blonde, which is a big plus! Taking the Plunge: Full Blonde Hair (Option #2) Now, going full blonde – or really leaning into the 'ginger and blonde hair' blend by transitioning more towards blonde – is a bold and exciting move! From platinum to a soft, 'medium blonde with light blonde highlights,' it's a complete transformation. It can feel incredibly fresh and totally change your aesthetic. However, based on my own adventures with blonde, it's definitely a commitment! My Experience & Tips: The biggest thing with blonde is the health of your hair. Lightening can be harsh, so investing in bond-repairing treatments (like Olaplex) and a high-quality leave-in conditioner is a must. Purple shampoo will become your new best friend to combat brassiness – seriously, don't skip it! Root touch-ups are usually needed every 4-6 weeks to keep it looking seamless. Also, consider the shade carefully. A 'strawberry blonde' can be a beautiful bridge from ginger, offering a softer, rosier blonde, while a 'medium copper' might be a gorgeous way to deepen your ginger if blonde feels too extreme. Ultimately, each option has its own charm and care routine. Think about how much time you want to spend on maintenance and what kind of vibe you're hoping to achieve. Do you want to slowly transition with highlights, or jump right into a dramatic blonde change? Or perhaps a richer 'medium copper' is calling your name? Whichever you choose, make sure to chat extensively with your stylist – they're the pros! I can't wait to see what you decide!
