She quickly bonded with us, following us from room to room, always wanting to be close. Her favorite spot became snuggled up on the couch between us during movie nights, a warm, furry presence. Her happy tail wags, especially when we came home after even a short absence, could brighten even the toughest day. Her playful nips as a puppy soon turned into gentle nudges for attention, and her soft snores became the soundtrack to our evenings. For anyone considering bringing an English Springer Spaniel into their lives, I can't recommend it enough, but be prepared for an active companion! They thrive on exercise and mental stimulation. Daily walks, playtime, and even some obedience or agility training are crucial to keeping them happy and well-behaved. We found that early socialization was key too; introducing Layla to other friendly dogs, new people, and different environments helped her become the confident, friendly dog she is today. Her beautiful tri-color markings and intelligent gaze are just a bonus to her wonderful temperament. They are also known for their 'soft mouth,' which makes them great at retrieving, though sometimes it means they bring you everything they find, from shoes to toys, with pride! Layla Bean isn't just a pet; she's a cherished member of our family. She brings so much laughter, comfort, and unconditional love into our lives. From her playful antics as a tiny puppy to her comforting presence as she's grown, every moment with our English Springer Spaniel has been a gift.
