2 WEEKS GROWING MY EDGES 🌱
2 weeks into my edge regrowth journey.
After leaving my braids in for way too long after having my baby, I noticed that my edges had become really thin.
So I decided to document my journey instead of hiding it.
I’m currently using Botania oil as part of my routine and giving my edges a break from tension and tight styles.
It’s only been two weeks, so I’m not expecting overnight results. I’m just staying consistent and taking pictures so I can honestly compare my progress.
I’ll keep documenting the journey and see where we’re at in a few more weeks. 🤎
Have you ever tried Botania oil for your edges?

Starting a hair regrowth journey, especially for edges, requires patience and consistency. I found that using Botania oil daily not only moisturized my edges but also helped soothe the scalp, which is crucial when recovering from tension-related thinning. Alongside the oil, I made sure to avoid any styles that pull tightly on my hairline, such as braids or ponytails, giving my edges a chance to breathe and recover naturally. Documenting progress through photos really helped me stay motivated because hair growth is often slow and subtle in the first weeks. Even when changes are not dramatic immediately, consistent care lays the foundation for stronger, healthier edges in the long run. For anyone experiencing similar edge thinning, especially after protective styles like braids or postpartum, it’s important to be gentle when handling your hairline. Incorporate moisturizing oils like Botania, maintain a low-tension hair routine, and keep your scalp clean and nourished. My experience showed that while two weeks is just the beginning, early signs of healthier edges can start to appear with this approach. I look forward to continuing this journey and sharing updates to encourage others dealing with edge issues that it’s possible to regrow and reclaim hair health with patience and the right care.
