A love letterto momseverywhere in honor of my firs
Dear mom: You are a real life superhero, you raised me to know right from wrong and lived by that you never wavered in your decisions of raising me, me and my mother went through hard time together, she left my dad due to drugs and me and her lived together since I was 12 now I’m 32 looking at my mom and still seeing us at those moments where we just would leave to get out that house, my brother never came. He always ran to his friends house, he didn’t like to see mom and dad fight but my only scare was my mom leaving and never coming back - fear the devil planted at me in a young age bc my mother was the only “home” I ever felt safe. She’s truly heaven sent to me she taught me how to be a woman a mother, and still continues too. I know if there was more people in this world like her , it wouldn’t be so evil and more honest and loyal to the death of her. She’s so strong I never seen someone hold it all the together when inside everything is broken hearted and filled with sadness from losing her closest friend , her brother. I can only pray she gets back 10 fold the love she has given to everyone in her path. You’re a great mom , thank you for being my mom and my dad in one. Forever indebted to you mom. Love you with all my heart

Reflecting on my journey, I realize just how much my mother's strength shaped me. It wasn't just about her being there; it was about watching her navigate life's toughest storms with unwavering grace. Growing up, I saw firsthand the sacrifices she made, not just emotionally, but often financially and physically. There were countless nights she worked extra shifts, or moments she put her own dreams on hold, all to ensure I had what I needed. I remember the subtle ways she stretched every dollar, making sure there was always food on the table and a roof over our heads, even when I knew things were incredibly tight. Her ability to create a sense of stability and normalcy amidst chaos is something I still marvel at. Her resilience truly shone when she faced her own heartbreak, like losing her closest friend, her brother. I remember seeing her pain, a raw grief that could have consumed anyone. Yet, even in her deepest sorrow, she found the strength to put on a brave face for me. It taught me that even superheroes have moments of vulnerability, but their inner strength allows them to keep going, to protect their children from the full weight of their burdens. It made me appreciate her even more, knowing the silent battles she fought for our family, often alone. Observing her unwavering spirit during those dark times instilled in me a deep understanding of true courage and perseverance. For anyone who has a mother like mine, you know the feeling of being perpetually grateful. How do you truly thank someone who gave you everything, often at the expense of her own needs? I've learned it's not just about words, though those are important too. It's about actions, about carrying forward the lessons she taught me: integrity, perseverance, and unconditional love. It's about making her proud, living a life that honors her sacrifices, and showing up for her with the same fierce love she always showed me. Sometimes, it’s as simple as a phone call, a shared meal, or just being present. As I've grown older, I often find myself looking at old photos – maybe a black and white portrait of her from years ago – and I see not just a woman, but a profound story. A story etched with courage, resilience, and endless love. It's a vivid reminder of where I came from and the incredible foundation she painstakingly built for me, brick by emotional brick. Every wrinkle, every weary glance I see in those pictures tells a tale of a warrior who never gave up. To every single mother out there, juggling responsibilities, battling silently, please know: you are seen, you are appreciated, and your children carry your strength within them. This isn't just my story; it's a testament to every warrior mom who puts her children first, no matter the cost. We are forever indebted to you. Let's make sure our mothers feel that love and appreciation every single day, acknowledging the monumental role they play in our lives.
