Somewhere Beyond The Sea by TJ Klune

An absolutely magical and heartwarming sequel to The House on The Cerulean Sea. It deals with so many relevant issues and topics we have in today's society and it broke my heart in some parts and put it back together in others. The narrator, once again, was fantastic and put his all into it. I fell in love all over again with the characters, especially with Arthur and Sal this time around. It just goes to show how deeply trauma can affect you and that it can resurface at any stage of life. The support and love that pours out of these pages for the queer community and those that have suffered abuse and discrimination is unparalleled. TJ Klune is by far the most wonderful example of an author who writes with love and caring and you can feel it in the pages (or in this case, spoken word). 10/10 for a gentle romance and giving some kind of hope that acts of kindness can make a change in a scary and cruel world.
