Our photographer won an award!!
My husband and I were married in Japan just outside Tokyo in September, and a week later we had a honeymoon photo shoot with our amazing photographer, Kaz!
Earlier this week he informed us that the photo shoot won his companies award in the category of Couples Shoots! I am so honored that he captured the love my partner and I have for one another, and wanted to share the news across my socials!
These photos were taken in Jinbōchō, Tokyo. This is also known as Book Town, with hundreds of bookstores ranging from older used materials to newly published works! My husband is a comic writer and editor, and I am a cartoonist, so it was the perfect location for us.
Our unforgettable honeymoon photoshoot took place just after our wedding in Japan, where we were honored to work with the talented photographer Kaz, who recently won the LOVEGRAPH QUARTER AWARD 2024 for the Couples category. This recognition highlights not only the artistic vision of the photographer but also the authentic emotions captured during our time together. Jinbōchō, often referred to as 'Book Town', provided a unique backdrop for our shoot, characterizing our love for literature and artistry. The eclectic mix of older bookstores and contemporary publications made the location special for us as creatives. As a comic artist, it was inspiring to be surrounded by so many stories woven into the fabric of the streets. We are thrilled to share that this experience led to Kaz praising our chemistry and the overall atmosphere during the photoshoot. Not only did we create beautiful memories, but we also contributed to a visual narrative that others can cherish through Kaz's lenses. We're excited for others to experience the magic of our photoshoot in Jinbōchō and hope this story inspires couples looking for unique photoshoot locations that reflect their passions.
