Unhealthy but so good
Velveeta Beef Pasta with Bowtie Noodles
Ingredients
2.25 pounds ground beef
1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
1 large block Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel tomatoes with chilies, undrained
1 box (about 12–16 oz) bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1 cup reserved pasta water
Directions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie noodles until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Set noodles aside.
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until fully browned. Drain off any grease.
Make the Creamy Sauce:
Add softened cream cheese, Velveeta cubes, and cream of chicken soup to the beef. Stir gently over medium-low heat until everything is melted and smooth.
Add the Flavor Kick:
Stir in the can of Rotel (do not drain!). Let the sauce simmer for 3–5 minutes to blend the flavors.
Adjust the Thickness:
Slowly pour in reserved pasta water until the sauce reaches your perfect creamy consistency.
Combine & Serve:
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix thoroughly so the noodles are coated in the cheesy beefy sauce. Serve hot!
