One of the thrillers I tackled was highly anticipated, though I found myself respectfully disagreeing with the hype for its first half. Sometimes, even the most talked-about books don’t fully meet expectations, and it takes some adjustment to appreciate their unique nuggets of storytelling. Another standout was a book that featured a fascinating theme involving octopuses, which brought a quirky charm and warmth to the characters, highlighting how second chances can open new life chapters. I also enjoyed a romantic series where the second book felt even cuter and more engaging than the first. It had a wholesome atmosphere reminiscent of classic rom-com vibes, which reminded me of movies like Sleepless in Seattle. This blend of humor and quirkiness in relationships added a refreshing take on romance. Additionally, I explored a space-themed love story that combined excitement with a touch of taboo romance.
