Stewardship isn’t about perfection. It’s about gratitude. ☕🌿
I’m learning that caring for my body means making intentional choices, enjoying God’s gifts with balance, and extending myself the same grace He gives me.
“You are not your own… therefore glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)
How is God teaching you to steward what He’s entrusted to you? 🤍🩷

In my personal experience, embracing the concept that our bodies are temples entrusted to us by God has been transformative. Instead of striving for unrealistic perfection in diet or exercise, I focus on making thoughtful, grateful choices each day—whether it's enjoying wholesome foods, taking restful breaks, or simply appreciating the gift of movement. The verse from 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 serves as a gentle yet powerful reminder that our bodies are not our own but are sacred vessels. This perspective has encouraged me to extend grace to myself, recognizing that stewardship is a lifelong journey filled with ups and downs. One practical approach that has helped is setting small, achievable goals rather than overwhelming expectations. For instance, rather than obsessing over every calorie, I prioritize meals that nourish both body and spirit. I also incorporate moments of joy—a favorite cup of tea or a peaceful walk in nature—acknowledging these as parts of honoring God’s gifts. Rest is another critical component; learning that giving myself permission to rest is also an act of stewardship has been freeing. It reminds me that caring for the body isn’t solely about discipline but also about joy and renewal. Ultimately, this journey invites reflection on how faith shapes our relationship with our bodies. Engaging with communities of Christian women on similar paths fosters encouragement and growth, helping me stay grounded in gratitude and intentional care. How are you embracing stewardship in your daily life?
