Apps I use for self learning

Coursera is renowned for its wide range of university-level courses, appealing to those seeking to enhance their education or career skills. It stands out by offering accredited certificates and degrees, making it an attractive option for professional development. Courses on Coursera require either a subscription or a per-course fee, and are typically taught by university professors or industry professionals, ensuring high-quality instruction. I have used it for Data Analytics and Project Management and loved the hands-on assignments.

Khan Academy specializes in K-12 education with a strong focus on math and science. It serves as a completely free educational resource, making learning accessible to all. Khan Academy's self-paced learning model is complemented by instructional video lessons and practice exercises, underpinning its reputation as a supportive tool for both students and educators. As a non-profit, Khan Academy's mission is centered on providing free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. I am not great at math, so I use it to refresh my understanding. It uses easy to understand language.

Skillshare taps into the creative market, offering courses in fields like illustration, design, and photography. It operates on a membership basis, allowing access to a wide array of classes, with some available for free. Unlike the more formal instruction on Coursera, Skillshare classes are taught by various creatives and experts and emphasize a project-based learning approach, which encourages students to learn by doing, fostering a practical and engaging learning environment. I have taken dozens of courses through Skillshare and the community on there is great.
