OOTD in ✨Disney✨
Some outfits I did not get a picture in but this is basically everything! It was SOOOO HOT. We went second week in August, so definitely bring portable fans and such if you plan to go that time.
For magic kingdom I love wearing black and red to resemble Mickey Mouse! lol
In animal kingdom I did not wear anything on theme, I just decided to wear my villain oversized T!
I love wearing a fun dress in Disney springs!
I chose a dress for Epcot because I knew we were not taking a break in the pool that day so I wanted something that felt comfortable and airy!
Ohana there is only one way to go: beach and tropical lol
Our matching shirts, we all chose a character we love! I chose Winnie the Pooh because my husband loves Tiger haha! I bought some matching ears and earrings from Amazon and Etsy!
On the last day our flight was later in the day, so we were just using the Skyliner and hotel hopping showing the kids around and getting some drinks! So I wore a really comfortable backless dress from Amazon that had built in shorts!
Thanks for reading! 🤗

Beyond just practicality, one of the most magical parts of a Disney trip as an adult is embracing the fun of character-inspired outfits! While my article shared my day-to-day looks, I often get asked about how to create those iconic character styles for grown-ups. If you're dreaming of an Ariel inspired outfit for adults, you're in for a treat because it's totally achievable and so much fun! For a subtle yet enchanting Ariel look, think about incorporating her signature colors: beautiful teal, seafoam green, and shimmering lavender. You could pair a flowing teal skirt or palazzo pants with a lavender off-the-shoulder top. Comfort is key, especially if you're exploring Magic Kingdom or Epcot all day, so look for breathable fabrics. Accessorize with delicate shell earrings, a dinglehopper-inspired hairpin, or even a small 'dinglehopper' photo prop for some playful photos near Ariel's Grotto! Many talented creators on Etsy offer subtle Disney-inspired jewelry and accessories that perfectly capture the essence of your favorite mermaid without being overly costume-y. Remember how I found my Winnie the Pooh ears on Etsy? It's a treasure trove for unique character touches! Another approach is to embrace the 'under the sea' vibe with fabrics and textures. Think about iridescent or sequined details that mimic scales, or flowy materials that evoke movement in water. A comfortable, breathable dress in a mermaid-scale print or a simple green maxi dress can be transformed with the right accessories. For shoes, always opt for comfortable sneakers or sandals – even Ariel needs to be able to walk around the parks without blisters! This is especially true when navigating the vastness of Epcot's World Showcase or dashing between rides at Magic Kingdom. While Ariel is a fantastic choice, don't limit yourself! The beauty of adult Disney bounding (character-inspired dressing) is that you can adapt any character. Perhaps a chic villain-inspired outfit for Animal Kingdom, or a classic Minnie Mouse look for Magic Kingdom. The key is to blend character elements with your personal style to create an outfit that's both recognizable and comfortable for a full day of park hopping and enjoying the various attractions, from Cinderella Castle to the Skyliner rides. Always remember the practical tips from my main post: August heat is no joke! If you're channeling a mermaid, make sure your fabrics are light and airy, and don't forget your portable fan. Whether you're heading to Ohana for dinner in a tropical-inspired dress or exploring Cinderella Castle, a well-planned themed outfit adds an extra layer of magic to your Walt Disney World experience. Consider how your chosen outfit will feel during long queues or while enjoying a delicious meal at Disney Springs. It’s all about creating those unforgettable memories in style and comfort. Happy planning!
