ถ้าใครมีโอกาสได้ไปเยือนเชียงใหม่ ผมแนะนำให้ลองแวะไปที่ "บ้านข้างวัด" ดูนะครับ ที่นี่ไม่ได้เป็นแค่ชุมชนไม้เก่าๆ ธรรมดา แต่ยังเป็นแหล่งรวมงานแฮนด์เมดซึ่งหาดูได้ยาก นอกจากนี้ร้านค้าในหมู่บ้านยังมีเอกลักษณ์ที่ใส่ใจในรายละเอียดของสินค้าและงานฝีมือแต่ละชิ้น ที่ผมประทับใจมากคือบรรยากาศที่เต็มไปด้วยต้นไม้ใหญ่ให้ความรู้สึกสงบและเย็นสบาย เหมาะกับการพักผ่อนและหลีกหนีความวุ่นวายจากเมืองใหญ่ เมื่อเดินไปถึงลานครึ่งวงกลมกลางหมู่บ้าน จะได้พบกับมุมถ่ายรูปเจ๋งๆ ที่แสงช่วงเย็นส่องผ่านใบไม้ทำให้ภาพออกมาสวยละมุนมาก ที่สำคัญทำให้ผิวดูดีในภาพโดยไม่ต้องแต่งเยอะ ส่วนร้านคราฟต์และคาเฟ่ที่นี่ก็มีให้เลือกเยอะมาก ตั้งแต่ถ้วยเซรามิก สินค้าผ้า ไปจนถึงของใช้ตกแต่งบ้านที่แต่ละร้านทำด้วยใจจริงๆ นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมต่างๆ ให้ทำแบบชิลๆ เหมาะสำหรับคนที่อยากลองฝึกทำงานแฮนด์เมดด้วยตัวเอง เช่น การเพ้นท์เซรามิก หรือทำงานผ้าพื้นบ้าน ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมที่ผมว่าช่วยเพิ่มประสบการณ์และความทรงจำดีๆ จากการมาเที่ยวเชียงใหม่ได้อีกทางหนึ่งครับ ผมเองก็เลือกแต่งตัวเป็นเดรสลายดอกสีม่วงอ่อนๆ ตัดกับกระเป๋าสีน้ำตาล ซึ่งเข้ากับบรรยากาศบ้านไม้และต้นไม้สีเขียวที่นี่ได้ดีมากๆ ถ้าใครชอบถ่ายรูปแนะนำให้เตรียมชุดสีอ่อนๆ หรือโทนสีธรรมชาติมาด้วยเพื่อให้ภาพออกมาดูสมูท เรื่องการเดินทางก็ไม่ยุ่งยาก มีที่จอดรถให้สะดวกสบาย สถานที่เปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ 10 โมงเช้าจนถึง 6 โมงเย็น แต่จะปิดทุกวันจันทร์นะครับ สรุปแล้วบ้านข้างวัดจึงเป็นแลนด์มาร์คแห่งใหม่ของเชียงใหม่ที่เหมาะกับคนรักงานฝีมือ ชอบบรรยากาศธรรมชาติ และต้องการหามุมถ่ายรูปเก๋ๆ ที่สำคัญยังมีร้านกาแฟและของทานเล่นให้เติมพลังด้วย ใครมาที่นี่รับรองว่าประทับใจและต้องอยากกลับมาอีกแน่นอนครับ
