Where I’m running to after a flight this Spring 🌸
I’m visiting my parents on the East coast and the first thing I wanted was @Dunkin’. They just dropped their new Spring menu, so my dad and I headed straight there from the airport. Here’s my honest take:
🍌☁️ Banana Puddin’ Cloud Latte ($6.74): If you like nostalgic, candy-like banana flavor, this is for you. It tastes artificial compared to a craft coffee shop latte, but it’s definitely a treat.
🍓🍌 Strawberry Banana Daydream Refresher ($5.79): This is sweet (definitely sweeter than a Starbucks refresher). Strangely, it grew on me by the third sip.
The Verdict: Both had the new Banana Cold Foam, which was sweet and creamy, and I really enjoyed it as a topper. The drinks themselves are very "Dunkin." If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love these. If not, maybe ask for half-sweet!

Okay, so let's really dive deeper into my Dunkin' Spring menu adventure! You know how it is – sometimes you just crave that familiar, comforting taste right after a long journey. Heading straight for Dunkin' was a no-brainer, especially with the buzz around their new banana-flavored drinks. First up, the Banana Puddin' Cloud Latte. The original article mentioned it's for those who like “nostalgic, candy-like banana flavor.” And honestly, that's spot on. Think less fresh banana, and more like the banana runts candy you might have had as a kid, or perhaps a homemade banana pudding where the banana flavor is concentrated. It's definitely a treat, and while it might lean a bit artificial compared to, say, a latte from a high-end craft coffee shop, that's part of its charm. It's unapologetically fun. The base latte itself is smooth, and the banana syrup really shines through, beautifully complemented by the rich *whole milk*. The star, of course, is that luscious Banana Cold Foam on top – it's incredibly creamy and adds another layer of sweet banana goodness. If you're a fan of sweet, dessert-like coffees, this is absolutely your jam. I found myself swirling the cold foam into the latte, making each sip even more decadent. Then there's the Strawberry Banana Daydream Refresher. My initial thought was, “Wow, this is sweet!” But as I mentioned, it really did grow on me. It’s got that vibrant strawberry dragonfruit base which is super refreshing, especially with the creamy oat milk that gives it a delightful texture. Unlike some refreshers that can be a bit tart, this one leans into its sweet side, almost like a fruit-flavored dessert drink. If you're used to Starbucks refreshers, expect a different, often sweeter, experience here. The combination of strawberry and banana is a classic, and Dunkin's take is fun and summery. I found myself appreciating its unique balance of fruitiness and creaminess more with each sip. It’s perfect for a warm afternoon pick-me-up or if you just need something to instantly brighten your day. A special shout-out has to go to the Banana Cold Foam. Seriously, if you try nothing else, try a drink with this on top! It's sweet, yes, but it's also incredibly light and fluffy, adding a fantastic texture and a burst of banana flavor that isn't overpowering. It’s versatile enough that you could probably add it to other Dunkin' drinks if you wanted to experiment. Now, for some practical tips! If you're like me and enjoy these flavors but sometimes find Dunkin' drinks a tad too sweet, don't hesitate to ask for *half-sweet*. You can also ask for less cold foam or even try the refresher with a dairy-free milk alternative like the oat milk if you're looking for a lighter option. These new menu items are definitely a departure from your standard coffee order, offering a playful and sweet escape. They embody that classic Dunkin' vibe – accessible, fun, and always ready to give you a little taste of something new. So next time you're near a Dunkin' (maybe even after a flight!), consider giving these new banana-infused treats a try. You might just find your new favorite spring indulgence!

As a crewmate in Dunkin, I HIGHLY recommend a “ice matcha latte with vanilla bean and a little bit of banana” it’s so good! (It’s pretty with protein milk)
