Miss Jane
She was left to go to second hook and no one was saving her. Gave her anti camp and tunneled her teammates. She was a cutie. #dbd #deadbydaylight #streamer #gamergirl #clips
It's moments like these that really test your patience in Dead by Daylight, isn't it? Being left on hook, especially when you feel like you've done your part, is one of the most frustrating experiences a survivor can face. My recent match playing as Miss Jane (you know, Jane Romero, the amazing celeb survivor!) was a prime example. I was definitely feeling the pain when I was left to hit second hook while my teammates seemed to be stuck dealing with a relentless killer who was anti-camping and tunneling them. It makes you wonder, what could have been done differently? And how do we, as survivors, navigate these tough situations? For those unfamiliar with the lingo, 'tunneling' is when a killer focuses on eliminating one survivor quickly, often by repeatedly chasing and hooking them right after they've been unhooked. 'Anti-camping' refers to perks or strategies that discourage killers from staying too close to a hooked survivor. While the game has mechanics to deter camping, a determined killer can still make life incredibly difficult. As a gamer girl who loves streaming DBD, I’ve seen it all, and it really hits different when it’s your character, Miss Jane, in the thick of it! When you're the one being tunneled, the best thing you can do is try to waste the killer’s time as much as possible. Don't go down easily! Use loops, vaults, and pallets to your advantage. Your goal isn't necessarily to escape the chase, but to buy your teammates precious seconds to do generators, heal, or save another hooked survivor. It’s like a silent signal, "Hey, killer's on me, go do gens!" If you see a teammate being aggressively tunneled or camped, team coordination becomes key. Sometimes, it feels like you need to 'SUMMON' all your bravery to go for a risky save. Looking for opportunities to distract the killer, or even taking a hit yourself, can be hero plays. Perks that offer endurance or speed boosts after being unhooked, or those that reveal the killer's aura, are invaluable in these scenarios. You need to be ready for a quick 'TAKEOFF' once you're off the hook, heading straight for a safe spot or a loopable tile. I've learned that sometimes, the killer uses powers or perks that inflict nasty status effects, similar to a 'TORMENT' that drains your will to survive. Understanding what these effects do, and how to counter them, is crucial. For instance, if you're hit with a status effect that makes you vulnerable, you might need to prioritize healing or finding a safe hiding spot. On the flip side, some perks allow for incredible escapes, almost like a 'BIRD STRIKE' – sudden, swift, and effective to break line of sight or gain distance. Ultimately, Dead by Daylight is a game about strategy, teamwork, and sometimes, enduring frustrating moments. While being left on hook definitely stings, every match, even the tough ones, is a learning experience. It teaches you resilience and how to adapt on the fly. And hey, even when Miss Jane has a rough time, she still looks fabulous doing it! Keep grinding, fellow survivors, and may your chases be long and your generators pop quickly!
