Help, I want to change my look
So, I want to change my look, but I’m really scared it might turn out bad. My hair is super dark—it’s dark brown, but people often think it’s black (just to give you an idea of how dark it is). I had never done anything to my hair until two years ago when I added a wine-colored dye on top. It only lasted a week since my hair is so dark and I didn’t bleach it. Now, my hair looks like it does in the picture.
Any ideas? I feel like my skin might be too dark to pull off blonde, but I’m not sure
Changing your look can be daunting, especially when it comes to hair color. Whether you're considering a bold change or a subtle adjustment, it’s essential to choose shades that complement your skin tone. If you have dark hair, like dark brown or black, getting the desired color can be a challenge without bleaching. Have you thought about discussing options with a professional hairstylist? They can suggest techniques like balayage or highlights, which can be less damaging and easier to manage. When selecting a new color, consider your natural undertones. If you have warmer undertones in your skin, colors like caramel, auburn, or honey might suit you well. On the other hand, if you have cool undertones, shades like ash brown or platinum blonde could be more flattering. If you’re unsure about going blonde due to your skin tone, try temporary dyes or hair waxes for a trial run before making a permanent change. Finally, remember that change is part of self-expression, and it’s okay to experiment until you find what you love.
