My bag to survive my long day of travel

Here’s everything I packed to survive a looong day of flights and layovers.

I brought tons of entertainment—left the manga at home last minute, but I downloaded a bunch of Outer Banks episodes (just got into it and I’m hooked).

My headphones and eye mask were total lifesavers—even though I only slept like 3 hours, they helped me stay sane.

Of course I brought my Owala for this trip too

And the essentials? I used almost all of them. Honestly, no regrets with how I packed this time!

Begin with entertainment. A device like a Kindle or a Chromebook can keep you engrossed for hours, while a Nintendo Switch is perfect for gaming enthusiasts. Download your favorite shows or movies, such as the trending 'Outer Banks,' ahead of time to avoid streaming issues during flights. Don't forget your headphones; they can block out noise and enhance your experience, whether you're listening to music or watching a show. An eye mask can also help you catch some sleep when you need it most. For hydration, carry a reusable water bottle such as the Owala, which keeps drinks cold for hours. Snacks are critical too—pack high-energy options to keep you fueled throughout the day. Think protein bars, dried fruits, or even healthier junk food for some comfort. Lastly, your travel essentials should cover personal care items. Lightweight toiletries, hand sanitizer, a toothbrush, moisturizer, and sunscreen are vital to staying fresh throughout your travel. Remember to have medications on hand, along with disinfecting wipes for cleanliness. With these tips and items, you'll be well-prepared to tackle any long travel day.
