หลายคนทักมาถาม 3 เรื่องนี้บ่อยมาก เลยขอรวมคำตอบแบบสั้นๆ แต่ครบ และเป็นสิ่งที่เราใช้ตอนเตรียมสอบจริงค่ะ 1) CU-TEP เต็มเท่าไหร่? CU-TEP คะแนนเต็ม 120 คะแนน และข้อสอบจะวัด 3 ทักษะหลักๆ คือ Listening, Reading, Writing (รวมถึง Error/Grammar ที่อยู่ในส่วน Writing ด้วยในแนวข้อสอบที่เจอ) ก่อนเริ่มอ่านหนังสือเราแนะนำให้ “รู้โครงสร้างก่อน” เพราะถ้าไม่รู้ว่าแต่ละพาร์ทวัดอะไร เราจะหลุดไปท่อง/อ่านแบบไม่ตรงจุด แล้วคะแนนจะนิ่งเหมือนที่เราเคยเป็นช่วงแรกๆ ทริคที่ช่วยเรา: หลังทำชุดฝึกหรือ Mock ให้จดแยกเป็นรายพาร์ทว่า “พลาดเพราะอะไร” เช่น - Listening: พลาดเพราะศัพท์ไม่ทัน / ติดกับดักคำพ้องเสียง / ฟังจับประเด็นไม่ออก - Reading: พลาดเพราะอ่านช้า / ตีความคำเชื่อมผิด / เดาคำศัพท์จากบริบทไม่เป็น - Writing/Error: พลาดเพราะ S-V agreement / tense / parallel / preposition พอเห็นสาเหตุจริงๆ จะรู้เลยว่าควรไปแก้ตรงไหน แทนที่จะทำโจทย์วนๆ แบบเดิม 2) ENG ME UP คืออะไร แล้วช่วยเรื่อง CU-TEP ยังไง? สำหรับเรา ENG ME UP เป็นแหล่งติวฟรีที่ “อธิบายเป็นระบบ” โดยเฉพาะพาร์ท Error/Writing ที่ถ้าอ่านเองแบบไม่มีโครงจะงงง่าย จุดที่เราชอบคือเค้าช่วยแยกโครงสร้างให้เห็นภาพ (เหมือนจับไฮไลต์เป็นสีๆ) ทำให้เรารู้ว่าในประโยคต้องมองหาอะไร ก่อนจะไปเลือกคำตอบ วิธีใช้ให้คุ้ม (แบบที่เราทำ): - ดูคลิป/บทความ 1 หัวข้อ → ทำโจทย์ทันที 20–30 ข้อ → สรุป “กฎของตัวเอง” 3–5 บรรทัด - พอทำผิด อย่าแค่ดูเฉลย ให้เขียนเพิ่มว่า “ครั้งหน้าจะสังเกตอะไร” เช่น เห็น either…or ให้เช็คกริยาตามประธานตัวหลัง 3) typ คืออะไร? (เจอในชื่อ/ไบโอหลายคน) คำว่า “typ” ที่เห็นในชื่อผู้ใช้/โซเชียล ส่วนใหญ่เป็นการพิมพ์ย่อ/สไตล์การตั้งชื่อ ไม่ใช่ศัพท์เฉพาะของข้อสอบ CU-TEP หรือคำศัพท์อังกฤษที่ต้องเจอในข้อสอบโดยตรงค่ะ ถ้าเจอในบริบทอื่นๆ มักหมายถึงแนว “type/typing” หรือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของยูสเซอร์เนมมากกว่า ดังนั้นไม่ต้องกังวลว่าเป็นคำที่ต้องท่องเพื่อสอบ ท้ายสุด ถ้าเป้าคือ 80+ แบบเรา แนะนำให้ทำ 2 อย่างควบคู่: (1) ฝึกแบบจับเวลาให้คุ้นสปีด และ (2) ทำสมุดสรุปข้อผิดพลาดแยกพาร์ท เพราะคะแนนที่ขึ้นจริงๆ มาจากการแก้ “รูรั่วเดิมๆ” ให้หมดค่ะ
