My Most Viewed Post!

... Read moreHey everyone! I'm still buzzing from the incredible 10.5K views my 'DRINKS I'VE HAD RECENTLY' post got on Lemon8! It was such a surprise, and honestly, a huge milestone for my Lemon8 profile. Seeing those numbers climb was amazing, but it also got me thinking – how do we bridge the gap between views and genuine engagement, like likes and saves? It's a common creator challenge, right? I've been trying to dissect what made that particular post perform so well in terms of views. I think it might have been the relatable content – everyone loves discovering new drinks! And I put a lot of effort into the visuals, making sure the bottles looked appealing on the store shelf, just like you'd see in a curated Lemon8 feed. But now, my focus is shifting. How do I turn those curious viewers into active engagers? From my own Lemon8 journey, I’ve realized that getting people to hit that 'like' or 'save' button often comes down to a few key things. First, a strong call to action can really help. Sometimes, just explicitly asking 'Did you try any of these? Let me know!' or 'Save this for your next drink run!' can make a huge difference. People need that little nudge and clear guidance on what to do next after viewing your amazing content! Another thing I'm working on is making my captions even more engaging. It’s not just about what's in the picture, but the story or question you pair with it. For my 'DRINKS I'VE HAD RECENTLY' post, maybe I could have asked 'Which drink should I review next?' to spark more comments and start a conversation. A good caption transforms a scroll into a stop, read, and react moment. Quality visuals are always crucial, but beyond that, consistency and understanding your audience play a huge role. What kind of content truly resonates with your followers? For me, it seems my drink reviews and personal recommendations get a lot of eyeballs. Now, I need to figure out how to make those eyeballs stick around and interact more. Perhaps experimenting with different formats, like mini-reviews within the post itself, or even polls, could encourage more likes and saves. I've also heard that replying to comments quickly can boost engagement, making people feel heard and encouraging more interaction. It builds a sense of community around your Lemon8 profile. And using relevant hashtags, like #lemon8diarychallenge or #fyp, definitely helps with discoverability, but the content itself has to compel that deeper interaction. Don't forget to leverage trending sounds or music if your post is video-based, as that often grabs attention too. If you're also struggling with that views-to-likes ratio on your Lemon8 profile, you're not alone! Let's share our tips and tricks. What strategies have worked for you to get more likes and saves on your posts? Have you found certain types of content or calls to action perform better? I'm eager to learn from your experiences and apply them to my next posts. Every 'like' and 'save' feels like a little win, and I'm determined to get more of them!

I wish I knew like how this algorithm worked cause I posted a really random post one day and it ended up having 50k views and over 100 comments. Then I post something I’m actually trying to get interactions on and it gets maybe 300-400 😂🥲
