I haven’t really shared my health stuff here… but I’m trying to be more “real” online, so here it is😅:
Over the past few years, I’ve been dealing with distorted taste and smell(parosmia) so bad I can’t even walk into a restaurant without feeling sick. Haven’t had meat, onion, garlic, or anything enjoyable to eat in almost 4 years. I’ve lost half my hearing, have chronic tinnitus, chronic sinus infections, and allergies that now need treatment. I also just found out I have reactive hypoglycemia—some episodes have even landed me in the hospital.
I’ve lost a ton of weight, my hair is falling out, I bruise like a tomato, get sick all the time, and I get winded doing basically anything. And everytime someone says my body looks “good” after 3 kids, I wish I could take it as a compliment… but it’s not as healthy as it looks.
I didn’t share this before not because I’m embarrassed — I literally didn’t know how. It’s a lot, especially going through pregnancy after pregnancy, with 3 littles.
So yeah… your girl doesn’t have it all together. And that’s okay. You’re not alone, we all have our battles, even the influencers on here who look like they have it all together.
