Earring stack inspo🦋✨
I’m a big fan of earrings. I just recently got a new piercing. It’s the butterfly earring that one hurt more than my other helix piercing which was odd cause I was expecting it to not hurt that bad. I will tell where I got them and the healing process of each one.
* first lobe
- pierced at Walmart when I was 7
- pain level 1/10 it did scared me but it didn’t hurt
- blue and white bead from Atolea Waterproof Jewelry
- it was my first ever piercings and I was a happy kid when I got them but I don’t remember how I took care of them my mom was the one who took care of them even when I wanted them out cause they were bugging me but kept them in and here we are today. They did heal properly so my mom did a good job
* second lobe
- pierced at Claire’s in the mall
- pain level 1/10
- stars piercing is from Atolea Waterproof Jewelry
- I was told not to sleep on my earrings so it was quite hard to sleep some nights. I used alcohol to clean it I was never told to use a certain solution. They did heal properly didn’t cause me much problems but don’t use alcohol for sure make sure you ask what to use for after care
* left helix
- pierced at a tattoo shop in town
- pain level 4/10
- chain earring is from
- I got this when I was 18 with my mom she also got a helix piercing. However, it took a very long time to heal we are still struggling with it to this day so we are wondering if the trauma from the piercer is what is causing us to have problems. At the moment they are fine we did use a saline solution for aftercare. It took a few different earrings to help them not be irritated to have bumps that look gross. I haven’t had a problem in a while with the chain I have in now so I hope to find more earring that don’t irritate it cause I would like to get more for that one.
* right helix
- most recent piercing but got it from a piercing shop called Rowan it’s by licensed nurses
- pain level 6.5/10 I don’t know why it hurt so bad this time
- butterfly from Rowan
- so far the healing process is going very good using the aftercare from Rowan. It does hurt when you touch it or accidentally lay on it in your sleep. I do use a piercing pillow now cause they recommend it but sometimes I find myself not laying on it but I am trying.
Do your research on where you’re getting your piercings from cause everywhere is completely different but I will be going back to Rowan as it was my favorite experience I had and they helped me figure out what I wanted when I couldn’t decide.

Earring stacking is a significant trend, allowing individuals to express personal style through various jewelry choices. When stacking earrings, it's essential to consider both aesthetics and comfort. A mixture of studs, hoops, and drops can create a vibrant and dynamic look. Choose earrings that vary in size and shape, allowing for creativity while maintaining balance in your stack. Consult with experts about pain levels associated with certain piercings; for example, helix piercings often have varying pain experiences, which can inform your choices. Aftercare is crucial to ensuring the longevity and comfort of your piercings. Use saline solutions and avoid harsh chemicals like alcohol, which can irritate new piercings. Researching your piercing shops is equally important; opt for professional piercers who prioritize safe and hygienic practices. Always remember that the goal is not only to look good but also to feel comfortable! By understanding your pain tolerance and individual healing responses, you can curate an earring stack that is both stylish and personal.
