our love story :’)

Our story didn’t start with fireworks. It started in the DMs. In the middle of COVID, when the world felt uncertain and everything slowed down, a simple message turned into something really special. We got to know each other through voice notes, long texts, and late-night FaceTimes when everything else felt quiet and still. We were living in different states, but that distance actually helped us grow close in a way I never expected. We talked about our faith, our families, what we hoped for in the future.

We built trust and connection before we ever held hands. When we finally met in person, it felt like I was meeting someone I already knew. There was a calmness in our connection that didn’t need to be rushed. It was steady, safe, and deeply real. A year later, we got married.

People said it happened fast, but to us, it felt right. Our relationship had already been tested by distance, uncertainty, and the slow pace of pandemic life. We didn’t need a grand moment to know it was love. It grew quietly, intentionally, and with so much care.

And looking back, I’m still in awe of how something so simple turned into something so beautiful !!! We met during a time of isolation, and somehow, we found each other. Not by accident. Not by coincidence. But in the exact right timing :))

... Read moreIn today's digital age, many relationships begin online, especially during unprecedented times like the COVID-19 pandemic. It's a period where people turned to social media and technology to connect when physical distancing was necessary. The beauty of online interactions—voice notes, texts, and video calls—allowed couples to form deep emotional bonds before meeting face-to-face, offering a unique blend of excitement and anticipation. Long-distance relationships, though challenging, can also foster a more profound level of understanding and communication. Couples often share their hopes, dreams, and values, laying a strong foundation of trust. In this story, we witness how a genuine emotional connection can sometimes lead to unexpected speed in commitment, like marriage. These relationships challenge the notion of traditional courtship, proving that love can grow quietly and intentionally. Amidst the chaos of life, focusing on the little things—simple conversations or shared silences—can create a safe haven for love to thrive. In the end, the timing feels right when love is nurtured patiently, highlighting how the heart often knows before the world does. This story isn't just a testament to love found during a pandemic; it's a reminder that meaningful connections can happen anywhere, at any time, especially when you least expect it.

Imagine telling your grandkids you met through DMs while hoarding toilet paper. Honestly, that’s the real 21st-century fairytale—swiping right for love and disinfectant.
