can transparency be toxic?
relationships in the digital age can make transparency feel tricky. is sharing passwords healthy or invasive? is checking a phone curiosity or control?
i’ve realized that real intimacy doesn’t come from constant visibility, but from peace in the unseen. you can love someone deeply and still respect their autonomy. so if you ever feel tempted to check their phone, pause and ask: what am i hoping to find... proof or peace? because real trust doesn’t need surveillance. it grows where honesty and respect meet!!!!

I wouldn’t unless there was a serious reason. Trust matters to me, and checking a partner’s phone usually signals a deeper issue that needs to be talked about.
