there’s a version of me that used to think love meant someone could just tell when something was wrong. but love isn’t mind-reading, it’s communication. every time i’ve said “i’m fine” and meant “i feel unseen,” i was really hiding behind fear. now, i’m trying to use my words more... even when they shake. honest communication doesn’t always lead to a perfect resolution, but it does lead to freedom. because the people who care will want to understand, and the people who don’t will show you that silence was never the answer.
