Just your reminder that church should be a hospital for all of us sinners… :))

It’s comforting to realize that fellow brothers and sisters of the faith are kind of going out of their way to show kindness, even when we all come with our flaws and struggles. For me, this has made church a safe space where vulnerability is not only accepted but encouraged as part of the healing process. Many people might feel intimidated or judged when attending church, but seeing it as a hospital for sinners helps shift that perspective completely. It reminds us that nobody is perfect and that the purpose of gathering is support, growth, and restoration—not perfection. This mindset also encourages us to extend grace and patience to others, fostering a genuine community. In my experience, those simple moments—when someone reaches out with kindness or offers a listening ear—can make all the difference. It’s a beautiful reminder that church isn’t about appearances or being flawless but about connecting through shared struggles and triumphs. Knowing this, attending church becomes a hopeful journey toward wholeness rather than a source of pressure or guilt.
