I’m starting a journal!
I’ve tried to make journaling a habit but I SUCK at creating habits.
I try way too hard at the beginning and I struggle with motivation.
So with this journal I’m not going to force myself to put something in it everyday.
I’m going to put something in it whenever I feel like creating something.
I’m using it just to document my 2024.
So there will me writing, letters, art, questions/answers, lists, tips, moodboards, how my day was, things I like, random pages, etc.
Not necessarily a junk journal. More like an “Everything” journal.
Having multiple specific journals gives me anxiety so I’m mashing them all up into one journal until I make journaling a habit.
I’m thinking about decorating the outside but not sure yet. I kinda like the plain look but I want to make it my own :)

Journaling can be a transformative practice, allowing individuals to express their thoughts and emotions freely. For beginners, it’s often helpful to revisit the basics of journaling. One way to start is by setting clear intentions for your journaling journey. This could include focusing on specific themes, such as gratitude or self-discovery, and using prompts to guide your writing. When creating your journal, consider incorporating creative elements like doodles, sketches, or collages, which can enhance self-expression. You can also personalize your journal by adding favorite quotes or memories, making it a unique reflection of your personality. Don’t forget to explore different journaling techniques! For instance, bullet journaling can help keep tasks organized while still allowing room for creativity. Alternatively, art journaling lets you combine imagery with words, creating a visual narrative. Experimenting with these styles can alleviate the pressure of a 'perfect' journaling routine. Another key aspect of successful journaling is developing a consistent practice. Try to set aside a few minutes each day or week when journaling feels most natural, rather than adhering to strict daily entries. This relaxed approach can lead to deeper reflections and a more enjoyable experience overall. Lastly, remember that your journal is a personal space for your thoughts, so there’s no wrong way to journal! Allow it to evolve, making it a safe haven for both your creativity and various feelings throughout the year. Embrace the journey of self-exploration through journaling!

Ugh so cute!! ❤️
