been falling sick at home because of these 🤧

... Read moreFrom my experience, staying healthy at home often comes down to how we maintain some everyday items that surprisingly harbor harmful germs. For instance, the kitchen sponge, which is used daily, can be dirtier than a toilet bowl due to trapped food bits and moisture that foster bacterial growth. I realized replacing my sponge every 1-2 weeks or sanitizing it regularly in hot water or a microwave truly made a difference in preventing stomach upsets. Mattresses can also be a hidden hotspot for dust mites and allergens. Mine used to cause morning congestion and sinus issues until I committed to a professional deep cleaning every 6 to 12 months. The buildup of body oils, sweat, and dirt can trigger allergic reactions, so keeping the mattress fresh significantly improved my sleep and reduced allergy symptoms. Moreover, vacuum cleaners do more than just clean; they can circulate dust, bacteria, and mold if filters and dust tanks aren't cleaned regularly. Emptying the dust tank and cleaning the filter every 2-4 weeks drastically improved indoor air quality in my home. I noticed fewer respiratory irritations and less unpleasant odors. Overall, addressing these three common but overlooked items helped me reduce sickness and maintain a healthier living environment. Consistent cleaning routines and replacing items like kitchen sponges on schedule are small effort changes that make a significant impact. Taking these steps can help anyone feeling unexplainably sick at home to pinpoint and eliminate these unseen culprits.
