do not skip doing these if u want a clean home 🏡✨

... Read moreFrom my experience keeping a clean and healthy home, paying attention to hidden spots really makes a noticeable difference. One area that often gets overlooked is the skirting board; it traps fine dust and hair, and over time dark lines appear making the whole room look dusty even if the floors have been mopped. I started wiping down skirting boards with a damp cloth on a weekly basis, and it significantly brightened the rooms. High-touch areas like light switches and door handles are more than just dirty—they can be breeding grounds for bacteria since we use them multiple times a day. Disinfecting these surfaces frequently, especially in shared homes, reduces hygiene risks. I keep a small disinfectant spray handy near doorways to quickly wipe these down during my regular cleaning sessions. Kitchen cabinets and drawers often go unnoticed inside, where grease and dust accumulate. Cleaning inside these compartments prevents dust from falling back onto cleaned surfaces and helps maintain a fresher kitchen environment. I schedule monthly deep cleans for cabinet interiors, which cuts down on lingering food odors as well. Ceiling fans and aircon exteriors accumulate dust that spreads through the air when in use. Since these spots are high up, I use an extendable duster to clean steadily every couple of weeks. This not only improves air circulation but also prevents allergens from circulating in the home. Window tracks are another hidden culprit where dust, sand, and sludge build up, making cleaning frustrating if ignored. I use a small brush and soapy water to scrub window tracks monthly, which prevents debris from getting trapped and resurface constantly. Ensuring these areas get regular and thorough attention turned my home into a healthier, fresher space. Small, consistent efforts in cleaning neglected spots add up to a big improvement in indoor cleanliness and comfort.
