I've been spending hours in the workshop, meticulously welding these parts together. It's not just about strength, but also about ensuring smooth, lifelike motion. I even got my trusty HUSKY welding mask out for this intricate work, safety first, right? A lot of you have been asking, 'Where is Nosey the animatronic located?' and 'What is it called?' Well, the name 'Nosey' actually came about because of its curious design – always seeming to 'nose' into things, observer-like! It's still very much a work in progress, so its final home isn't set in stone yet, but I have some exciting ideas. Imagine Nosey greeting guests at a quirky museum exhibit, or perhaps adding a touch of whimsical wonder to a local event! The dream is for Nosey to be somewhere people can interact with it, marvel at the mechanics, and maybe even get a little playful scare. The process of building an animatronic like Nosey is truly a labor of love. From designing the initial concepts to sourcing the right materials, every step requires patience and passion. The linkage we're working on now is central to how Nosey will gesture and move its arm, which will be key to its character. I'm already envisioning the circuits and programming that will bring these movements to life. It’s a journey of engineering and artistry, blending the precision of welding with the creative vision of a character. For those curious about the technical side, getting these joints just right involves a lot of trial and error. You have to consider weight distribution, torque, and how each component will interact. It's a puzzle, but incredibly rewarding when you see the pieces fit and move as intended. I'm using some really tough steel for these connections to ensure Nosey is durable and can stand the test of time, wherever it eventually finds its home. So, while Nosey isn't 'located' anywhere specific yet, it's very much alive in my workshop, growing day by day.
