March was an exciting month in the world of reading, and I discovered numerous fantastic books that made my selection process quite challenging. Among the highlights were inclusively diverse genres such as fantasy, thrillers, and LGBTQIA+ literature that kept me hooked. This month, I managed to read a total of 8,641 pages across a variety of titles, achieving an average rating of 4.08, which reflects the high quality of the books I delved into. Some of the standout titles this month included ‘Raybearer’ and ‘Four Found Dead’, both of which captivated me with their intricate plots and compelling characters. I also engaged with books that challenged the norms and fostered discussions around crucial topics, aligning with my engagement in the Trans* Reading Challenge. Notably, the challenge urged readers to embrace diversity and representation in literature, which is more important than ever in today’s society. To track my progress, I set an ambitious reading goal of 200 books for the year and, with March behind me, I’m currently ahead of schedule by 20 books! Additionally, I am diving deep into challenges such as reading a sapphic book for each letter of the alphabet, which has proved to be an engaging and fulfilling journey. This month offered a rich tapestry of narratives that not only entertained but also enlightened, making it a memorable reading experience.
