Ribeye Time

Ribeyes on the Primo Junior tonight 🔥 Marinated in my favorite Allegro Black Pepper then seasoned up with Randy’s 13 Zero. Fired up the Primo with The Good Charcoal in my Kick Ash Basket and a Bentley Burn Bag to get things rolling. Cooked these on the GrillGrates and got those beautiful grill marks. Finished slicing them up with my KRAM Knife and they were straight money 💯🥩

... Read moreGrilling ribeye steaks to perfection is both an art and a passion. From my experience, using a marinade like Allegro Black Pepper enhances the natural flavors of the ribeye by adding a subtle kick without overpowering the meat. Applying Randy’s 13 Zero seasoning after marinating creates a delicious crust that locks in the juices. When firing up the Primo Junior ceramic grill, incorporating The Good Charcoal in a Kick Ash Basket ensures consistent heat and longer burn time, which is crucial for evenly cooking thick cuts like ribeye. Meanwhile, using a Bentley Burn Bag helps get your charcoal lit quickly and efficiently, reducing waiting time so you can start grilling sooner. Cooking ribeye on GrillGrates offers several benefits: these grates promote even heat distribution, prevent flare-ups, and create those iconic grill marks that not only look great but also add to the meat's texture and flavor. To achieve the perfect sear, preheat the GrillGrates thoroughly and avoid moving the steaks too early—about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Finishing the cooking process, slicing ribeye properly is essential to maximize tenderness. I recommend using a high-quality slicing knife like the KRAM Knife, which provides precision cuts that prevent shredding the meat fibers. Letting the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing also helps retain juices, resulting in a succulent bite every time. Incorporating these techniques and tools into your grilling routine elevates the ribeye experience, turning a simple steak night into a gourmet occasion. Whether you’re a backyard enthusiast or a seasoned pitmaster, these tips offer practical guidance to enjoy ribeye cooked to perfection.
