Team HBT × Bentley BBQ teamed up to feed a bunch of hungry youth at church, and it was a great day! Hard to beat a shrimp boil, juicy burgers, and hot dogs shared with great people. We fired up the HBT Santa Maria-style Boiler/Fryer for the shrimp boil and cooked the burgers and hot dogs on the HBT Gameday. Good food, good fellowship, and a lot of happy faces—doesn’t get much better than that!

Participating in community cookouts like this one is more than just about the food; it's about coming together and sharing moments that build connections. Using the HBT Santa Maria-style Boiler/Fryer to prepare the shrimp boil is a fantastic way to cook large quantities efficiently while infusing smoky flavors using natural wood and charcoal. From my personal experience, adding ingredients such as potatoes, lemon sausage, hot dogs, onions, mushrooms, and a special garlic seasoning really boosts the taste and makes the meal more filling and satisfying. I love that the shrimp are cooked from frozen, which not only saves prep time but also locks in freshness when put into the boiling water. Allowing the shrimp to soak with spices such as King Craw ABTSMOKERS seasoning really deepens the flavor profile, making the dish irresistible. Combining classic BBQ staples like burgers and hot dogs prepared on a separate grill complements the seafood nicely and ensures there is something for everyone's taste. Events like these emphasize fellowship and community spirit—sharing good food with happy faces creates memories that go beyond the meal itself. Whether feeding 50 to 60 people, as in this event, or hosting a smaller gathering, these cooking methods and recipes provide a reliable way to satisfy hungry guests. For anyone looking to host their own community cookout or church event, investing in quality cookers and using a thoughtfully planned menu that includes seafood boils and grilled favorites can result in a truly unforgettable day.
