ถนนทรงวาดเป็นย่านเมืองเก่าที่เต็มไปด้วยบรรยากาศย้อนยุค มีตึกเก่าและร้านรวงที่เก็บรักษารูปลักษณ์ดั้งเดิมไว้อย่างดี ทำให้ทุกมุมถ่ายภาพมีเสน่ห์เฉพาะตัว ผมเองได้มีโอกาสลองเดินเล่นถ่ายรูปที่นี่และพบว่า แสงธรรมชาติโดยเฉพาะแสงแดดยามบ่าย ช่วยเสริมให้ภาพถ่ายมีความอบอุ่นและมีชีวิตชีวามากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะเมื่อนำกล้อง Kodak Pixpro C1 มาใช้ในการถ่ายรูป เห็นได้ชัดว่าโทนภาพออกมานุ่มนวลและเหมือนภาพฟิล์มคลาสสิกโดยไม่ต้องพึ่งพาการแต่งภาพมากนัก ตัวกล้องเล็กพกพาง่าย เหมาะกับการเดินสตรีทถ่ายรูปเพลินๆ ไม่น่าเบื่อ แนะนำว่าควรเที่ยวชมถนนทรงวาดในช่วงบ่ายที่แสงแดดยังไม่เข้มเกินไป เพราะแสงจะตกกระทบกับผนังและป้ายร้านต่างๆ ได้อย่างน่าประทับใจ ทำให้ภาพถ่ายดูมีมิติและเต็มไปด้วยเสน่ห์ นอกจากนี้ บริเวณนี้ยังมีร้านกาแฟและคาเฟ่เล็กๆ ให้พักผ่อนอย่างชิลๆ หากใครชื่นชอบแนวถ่ายรูปสตรีทหรือวินเทจ มาที่นี่รับรองไม่ผิดหวัง สุดท้ายแล้ว การถ่ายรูปเล่นในย่านเมืองเก่าแบบนี้ไม่เพียงแต่จะได้ภาพสวยๆ กลับบ้าน แต่ยังเป็นการเติมเต็มประสบการณ์และบรรยากาศย้อนยุคที่หาชมได้ยากในกรุงเทพฯด้วย
