Valentine’s Day story

Share your story! Valentine’s Day is coming up soon! 🥰❤️

Here’s our story:

Birthdays? 1/10/98 and 7/3/91

How’d you guys meet? Remember that anonymous app called whisper that used to exist? Well I talked to a stranger and it worked out super well

First date? Uhh… we didn’t really have one. We met at the grocery store then went to a cookout at my mom’s. We’re super classy

How long have you all been together? We’ve known each other 9 years 🤯

Engaged? Yes but not for much longer 👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻

Do you all have any kids together? We have a zoo.. 3 kids and 5 furbabies

Who is older? Him

Who was interested first? It was mutual

Who is taller? Him by a lot

Who said I love you first? He did. I took maybe a week to say it back

Most impatient? Definitely me. He’s the king of being laid back and relaxed

Worst temper? Depends on the topic. Do not get him going about politics 😂

Most sensitive? We’re both very open about our emotions with each other and communicate them. I love this so much

Loudest? Absolutely me 110%

Most stubborn? Me

Cooks better? Both. I love when we cook together in the kitchen

Better morning person? Him by far. I’m a night owl

Better driver? Him, I’ll happily stay a passenger princess if I can

Most competitive? Depends on what it is

Funniest? I’d say both. We’re always making each other laugh

Where do you eat out most as a couple? We cook at home more than we eat out but if I had to pick probably Taco Bell

Who is more social? Definitely him. He doesn’t meet a stranger

Who is the neat freak? Me. I clean daily. He does help though

Do you get flowers often? He gets me flowers on FATHERS DAY because he “wouldn’t be a dad without me” tell me how I got so lucky 🥹

Plans date night? Both of us on the rare occasion we’re kid free lol

Who picks where you go to dinner? We usually decide together

Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong? We both admit to it and talk it out

Who wears the pants in the relationship? We handle different things each so I’d say in ways, both of us. We’re a team. It’s not him vs me. It’s us.

Who has more tattoos? Me because I’m cool

Who sings better? Me but I’m still awful lol

Hogs the remote? We don’t watch a lot of tv but when we do decide to, we pick a show and watch it together so it’s mutual. The kids hog the remote otherwise

Spends the most? Me because I keep inventory of what’s needed in the house and for everyone in it and do the weekly shopping

Did you go to the same school? No, we grew up 2 hours away from each other

Where is the furthest you two have traveled? We’ve been to the Bahamas, Mexico, and Honduras so whichever one of those is the furthest away

Who drives when you are together? Him. I’m the passenger princess and certified snack giver when the kids are with us

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
