okay so we went for this pilates & paws session last weekend and i need to talk about it because it was actually the cutest thing ever???? 🐶🧘🏻♀️
this event is located at upper paya lebar road and you can take a bus from serangoon mrt to get there. you can bring your own dog but if you don’t have one you can come too! it was super beginner-friendly, the instructor guided us through slow movements and breathing, and honestly it felt like a very wholesome stretch session for my brain too.
AND THEN. the dogs. the DOGS.
they were soooo cute and just roaming around, occasionally coming over to sit next to you while you’re doing your pilates moves 😭 my serotonin levels were literally through the roof. like how do you be stressed when a dog is just casually chilling beside your mat.
after the session we had playtime with the pups and even fed them whipped cream!! there was also a milk hydration station for the dogs + free matcha for us girlies… like?? omg why did no one tell me this was a thing! we also had the chance to talk and socialize with everyone else in the class and made many new friends (and furry friends) as well!
if you’ve been wanting to slow down, or just do something gentle for yourself (and your dog) … this is your sign to go for pilates and paws 🐾

The session was held at a cozy studio accessible by bus from Serangoon MRT, making it very convenient. Even if you don’t have a dog, you can join and benefit from the calming effects these furry friends bring.
One highlight was how well the dogs adapted around us—roaming freely and interacting without being disruptive. This creates a welcoming environment where you’re encouraged to focus on breathing and mindful movements while enjoying the company of playful pups.
After the workout, we had time to play and socialize, with refreshments provided – including free matcha for humans and a hydration station for dogs. These little touches make the experience feel like a wholesome wellness event.
For dog owners, this is a great way to bond with your pet while promoting physical activity for both of you. Plus, the presence of the dogs really lifts your serotonin and helps you unwind. I found it especially helpful as a gentle routine to slow down and recharge mentally and physically.
