2026 Soft Goals!!

I have a love hate relationship with New Year’s resolutions.

I love the idea of having goals but often times we set ourselves up for failure by setting too many goals that are unrealistic.

My approach to new years goals are to find ways to soften them a little. Make them more attainable and real.

It’s not about competing with anyone around me, or even about getting to a certain level of health. It’s more about taking care of my body, whether that be stretching or lifting weights. Eating a strawberry or eating a piece of chocolate. Cleaning out a closet or taking some time to rest.

If we do too much of anything or put too much pressure onto one thing, it will eventually break. That’s why it’s important to even out the pressure.

Don’t feel like going to the gym? Go for a walk instead.

It’s all about balance.

Let’s make 2026 about honoring our bodies with the nutrition it needs, the rest it deserves, and the movement it loves.
