Okayyy so I’m scootering around from now on
With gas prices reaching over $6.40 per gallon, many of us are rethinking how we move around day to day. Recently, I decided to switch to scootering as my main mode of transport, and it’s been quite an eye-opener. Not only does scootering save me a significant amount of money on fuel, but it also offers a flexible and fun way to navigate through town without the stress of traffic or parking. Scooters are generally more affordable upfront and incredibly economical to maintain compared to cars. Plus, with the costly jump in gas prices, the savings really add up over time. Beyond the financial perks, scootering contributes to reducing my carbon footprint, which feels great knowing I'm doing my bit for the environment. One thing I learned is that starting to scooter requires some adjustment—like getting used to new routes and safety gear—but it quickly becomes second nature. It’s also a great workout, providing a bit of exercise while commuting. If you’re considering a more sustainable and budget-friendly alternative, I’d highly recommend giving a scooter a try. It’s a small change with big benefits in times when gas prices make driving less appealing.
