Rating my running shoes as a girlie with plantar fasciitis 🏃🏼♀️💨✨🫡
Managing plantar fasciitis as a runner can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to selecting the right footwear. From my experience, choosing shoes with excellent arch support and cushioning is key to reducing pain and improving performance. Among the shoes I’ve tried, the Brooks Glycerin Max stood out as my favorite. It offered superior support and comfort, allowing me to run long distances without significant arch pain. Similarly, the Brooks Ghost Max 3 provided good arch support and helped keep discomfort at bay during runs. However, not all running shoes work well for plantar fasciitis. For example, while the On Cloudmonster is comfortable for walks, my arches tend to hurt during runs. The On Cloudboom Max also caused some arch pain during extended runs, even though it was pretty good overall. One underrated gem I found is the On Cloudnova X, which has become my go-to daily shoe due to its perfect balance of comfort and support. When selecting shoes, it’s important to consider not just running performance but also whether they suit your foot shape and pain points. Remember, plantar fasciitis affects everyone differently, so what works for one person may not work for another. It’s worth trying different models and even consulting a specialist if the pain persists. In my case, consistent use of supportive running shoes has significantly reduced discomfort and allowed me to keep enjoying running safely.
