Venti Iced Matcha Latte Recipe!!
Hey guysss my name is Bethy. I rejoined Lemon8 because I wanted to share my interests with everybody. I wanted to put you guys on to this amazing Starbucks drink that I got from my school coffee shop!
Order:
Venti Iced Matcha Latte
Oatmilk
Light Ice
2 pumps of Caramel
I try not to ask for a bunch of random add ons because I don’t want to end up like the girl on Instagram Reels who went viral for the barista throwing the whole entire drink in her face at drive thru (which was wild ngl) after she LITERALLY ordered a Medium Iced White Mocha with two extra sauce, two scoops of vanilla salt top, caramel drizzle, and extra sugar sprinkles. I love coffee but it can’t be THAT good for you to be getting over excited 😂😂 It wasn’t at Starbucks btw. The workers are already so stressed out by having to work their job all day and then you’re giving them unnecessary orders

Hey matcha lovers! Since I shared my favorite Starbucks Venti Iced Matcha Latte order – the one with oat milk, light ice, and two pumps of caramel – I've had so many of you asking for more details. It's truly my go-to, and seeing those beautiful caramel swirls mixing with the vibrant green matcha in my clear cup just makes my day! Many of you are looking for tips on how to order this perfect drink or even how to recreate something similar at home. So, let's dive into making your Starbucks experience even better! Why My Venti Iced Matcha Latte Order is Pure Bliss: This specific combination hits all the right notes for me. The oat milk provides a creamy, slightly sweet base that complements the earthy notes of the matcha perfectly. Adding light ice ensures you get more of the delicious drink and less dilution, while the two pumps of caramel add just enough sweetness and a lovely, subtle flavor without overpowering the matcha. It's not overly sweet like some other drinks, striking that ideal balance. Plus, seeing the Starbucks logo on that clear plastic cup, with the "WE PROUDLY SERVE" text visible as I sip, just adds to the aesthetic appeal! Tips for Ordering Your Custom Matcha Latte at Starbucks: Be Clear, but Concise: While my original post joked about complex orders, baristas truly appreciate clear instructions. Stick to one or two key modifications. "Venti Iced Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, Light Ice, and 2 pumps Caramel Drizzle" is simple and effective. Consider Your Milk Choice: Oat milk is fantastic, but almond milk or soy milk also work well if you prefer different flavors or have dietary restrictions. Each adds a unique nuance to the matcha. Sweetener Levels: Two pumps of caramel is my sweet spot. If you prefer it less sweet, ask for one pump, or if you have a real sweet tooth, try three! You can also opt for classic syrup or even sugar-free vanilla. The Clear Cup Aesthetic: If you love seeing your drink's layers and color like I do, you can sometimes request it in a clear plastic cup (though this might vary by location or if you're using a personal tumbler). Alternatively, bringing your own reusable clear tumbler is a great way to enjoy the visual appeal and be eco-friendly! Bringing the Matcha Magic Home: How to Make Your Own Iced Matcha Latte: If you're looking to save a few bucks or just want to enjoy a homemade version, making an iced matcha latte at home is surprisingly easy. Gather Ingredients: You'll need high-quality matcha powder, your preferred milk (oat milk for that creamy base!), a sweetener (like caramel sauce, maple syrup, or honey), and ice. Prepare the Matcha: Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl. Add about 2-3 ounces of hot (not boiling) water. Whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small frother until fully dissolved and frothy. This is key for a smooth, lump-free drink. Assemble Your Latte: Fill a clear glass (to admire those layers!) with ice. Pour in your chosen milk (about 8-10 ounces for a Venti-sized drink). Add your caramel drizzle or other sweetener to the milk. Combine: Gently pour the whisked matcha over the milk and ice. Watch as the beautiful layers form! Stir before drinking, and enjoy your homemade creation. You can even add an extra swirl of caramel on top, just like the ones you'd see in a Starbucks clear cup! Experiment with different matcha brands and milk types to find your perfect home blend. It's a fun and rewarding way to enjoy your favorite drink!
