Our son was floating away!🫢
At the lake sat and our son on a big donut-shaped raft started floating away! He said he couldn't touch the bottom. I didn't think about it
because he's been out much further before. Well, it rained and it must have rained a lot. The waves were coming in. I couldn't figure out why he was going further out. Then I noticed a current that was going in a different direction, It was a different color like a dark deep blue. And Bugz was on the line of 2 different colors of water. I threw my phone down and jumped in. I was swimming well, then the cold water hit my chest and it got hard to breathe. I made it to him but not without being outta breath. Held onto the raft a minute and then backstroked pulling him back in. That current was strong for a minute, we weren't going anywhere! 🥺 It scared me. I didn't know the lake could have different currents than which the waves are going, I mean I know but didn't realize how strong they could be in a lake!🙆♀️ There weren't even any boats out that were usually out there making waves. But the current was sucking us both out, to the middle of the lake. Goodness 😮💨 Next time, he's getting attached to a reel of rope!😉 Stay Safe Everyone!🍀
