These small yet effective changes can lead to significant improvements in your quality of life. This simple practice eliminates the frustrating 'where is it?' moments that can derail your morning routine. Additionally, utilizing your notes app as a second brain can be a game changer. Write down thoughts and tasks as they arise to prevent forgetfulness, allowing you to focus on the tasks at hand without mental clutter. Setting alarms with thoughtful labels, such as 'Start winding down' or 'Stretch,' can serve as gentle reminders to prioritize self-care. Remember, rest is essential for maintaining productivity and mental clarity. Another effective strategy is to create a 'default outfit' that makes you feel good but requires little thought. On days when you’re short on time or energy, this saves valuable minutes and helps maintain a polished appearance. I have divided my closet into sections:work, home, funeral or formal occasions, special occasions, other. If an outfit is one of the named sections it is only used for those events. This helps as I don’t have to hunt around for work clothes or an unexpected formal occasion etc. it also trains me to remove my clothes when I get home and slip into something from the home section. Then I will clean, press and return outfits to their right section.
