The earth laughs in flowers
This morning was the usual whirlwind. We made it to school on time, but the "guessing box" was forgotten, laundry was piling up, and breakfast almost became a fire hazard. Amidst the rush, I realized I’d missed my 8:00 AM flower pickup.
As I hurried to the car, I felt that familiar sense of urgency—that "lion chasing me" feeling. I had to stop and tell myself: the flowers will not combust if I’m late. >
Once I arrived and saw this beautiful arrangement, everything shifted. Fresh flowers remind me to take a step back and breathe. No matter the size of the problem, it isn't the end of the world. There is so much beauty we fail to hold onto, and today, I’m choosing to hold onto this.
