... Read moreAcne is a common skin condition that can manifest in several forms, including blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pustules, nodules, and cysts. Understanding the specific type of acne you have is crucial for effective treatment. For instance, blackheads are caused by clogged pores, while cystic acne results from deeper inflammation. Treatments may vary significantly; for example, non-comedogenic products are recommended for those prone to blackheads to prevent clogging pores, while topical treatments containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid can effectively target inflammatory acne. Incorporating a balanced diet rich in antioxidants and vitamins can also support skin health. Additionally, consulting with a dermatologist can lead to personalized treatment options, ensuring you get the best care suited to your needs. For those struggling with persistent acne, professional treatments such as chemical peels or laser therapy can provide significant results. Remember, the key to successful acne management lies in consistent skincare, understanding your skin's unique needs, and making informed treatment choices. Always complement your acne treatment regimen with the right lifestyle choices, like regular exercise, hydration, and adequate sleep, which can significantly enhance your skin's recovery process. Research continues to unveil new treatment options, so staying informed can empower your skincare journey.

The routine seems like a good PIH routine but for someone who has oily skin. Signs of white and black heads are signs that skin is very dehydrated and salicylic acid does help but with benzoyl peroxide especially 10% your causing a drought onto your skin since it’s a a very drying ingredient. Cyst and nodules are outside our hands we do have to see a medical professional bc a lot of the times it’s a medical issue, hormonal issue or environmental stressors

just realy quickly, if you have full fledged cysts, they do have to be removed by a dermatologist due to the cysts small lining around it (the cyst wall), otherwise it will refill. Just a quick fyi!
