Stop Letting Anyone Sit at Your Table

There was a time I used to feel bad for pulling away. I thought distance meant I was being rude or acting funny.

But the truth is I wasn’t protecting my peace. I was sitting at tables I didn’t belong at, having conversations that left my spirit tense, and entertaining people who didn’t value me.

Now I protect my energy like it’s sacred because it is.

Recognizing the signs of poor spiritual hygiene, such as feeling drained after social interactions, is crucial for personal well-being. It's common to feel guilty when saying 'no' or to tolerate uncomfortable energies from others. However, it’s essential to prioritize your mental health by not allowing everyone to share your space or energy. Think of boundaries as protective barriers that keep your spirit rejuvenated. By reassessing who deserves access to your kindness and time, you can foster a more peaceful existence. Create rituals for regular self-check-ins to remove toxic connections and re-energize your spirit. Understanding that it’s okay to prioritize your peace can lead to healthier relationships and a more balanced life.
