Is Chipotle’s Honey Chicken Actually Good?
Chipotle Honey Chicken is back, so obviously I had to see what all the sweet-and-spicy hype was about.
The chicken is freshly grilled and marinated with smoky chipotle peppers and a touch of honey, so the flavor is supposed to give you that sweet + spicy combination.
And honestly, I really like the balance.
You get that smoky chipotle flavor first, followed by a little sweetness from the honey. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet or like you’re eating chicken covered in sugar. The honey works more like a finishing flavor that balances the smoky heat.

I actually love the honey chicken. Cava also has a honey chicken and they also are delicious. They better not be using that Taylor Farm lettuce. 😤 😒
