My Favorite Brazilian Hair Products for 4C Hair
I’ve been trying out different Skala products for my natural hair, and these are the ones currently in my rotation. If you have 4C hair, you already know how important it is to find products that work with your hair’s need for moisture, softness, and manageability.
Here are the Skala products I’m using
Skala Mais Cachos is one I reach for when I want to focus on my curls/coils and keep my hair soft and moisturized.
Skala Mais Crespos Treatment Cream + Leave-In this one is all about strength, hydration, and detangling, which are especially important parts of my routine.
Skala Potão do Amor is a moisturizing treatment cream that I like having around when my hair needs some extra softness and moisture.
Skala Divino Potão is another treatment cream in my rotation for when I want my hair feeling moisturized, soft, and easier to manage.
What I really like about having multiple Skala options is being able to choose based on what my hair needs that day. Sometimes I’m focused on moisture, sometimes detangling, and sometimes I just want my hair to feel soft and ready to style.
In my journey with 4C hair, which tends to be coily, dense, and prone to dryness, finding the right products has been crucial for maintaining healthy curls. Skala’s Brazilian hair care line has been a game changer for me, especially because it offers versatile options tailored to moisture, strength, and manageability. What I found truly valuable about the Skala Brasil Divino Potão and the Potão do Amor creams is their rich, creamy texture that deeply penetrates my strands without weighing them down. These products provide nourishment and softness that last for days, making my detangling process much more manageable. They also help reduce breakage, which is key given how fragile 4C hair can be. On days when my scalp or hair feels particularly dry, I rely on the Skala Mais Crespos Treatment Cream + Leave-In. This combo not only strengthens my hair but also provides the perfect slip for detangling knots gently and efficiently, minimizing damage. I appreciate that these creams also work as leave-in conditioners, which means my curls remain hydrated and bouncy throughout the day. Another favorite is Skala Mais Cachos, which I use when I want to define my curls and coils while ensuring they stay soft. Having multiple products allows me to customize my hair routine depending on what my hair needs — sometimes it’s all about extra moisture, other times detangling is the priority, and occasionally I just want softness with easy styling. Overall, using these Brazilian hair products has helped me maintain the natural beauty of my 4C hair with much less effort. I encourage others with similar hair types to explore Skala's offerings and experience how combining creams focused on hydration, strength, and softness can transform their hair care routine. Remember, consistency and listening to your hair’s daily needs make all the difference!

I was just looking at those products yesterday and something was telling me to pick it up but I didn’t.🤦🏾♀️
