On this Christmas Eve, December 24, I want to say a prayer for all the migrants who are working in the United States today away from their family. 🇺🇸💔🎄
Lord God, embrace with tenderness those who are alone today, those who smile on the outside but inside feel that melancholy that squeezes the chest 😔🫂. You know how hard it is to spend these dates away: missing the house, mom’s food, the laughter, the hugs, the voice of the children... and still stay on your feet. 🏠👩👦❤️
Give them strength when tiredness weighs, peace when sadness comes suddenly, and comfort when a call doesn’t come in or when silence feels louder than Christmas music 📞🥺🎶. Remind them that their effort is not in vain: that every hour worked, every sacrifice and every tear has a purpose... build a better future for theirs 💪🏽✨👨👩👧👦
Lord, take care of your roads, your work and your health 🙏🛡️. Protect them from danger, injustice and loneliness 🤍🕊️. And in the middle of everything, he turns on a beautiful light in his heart that tells them: “heng on a little longer, you are not alone, this will also happen” 🕯️🌟
May this Christmas Eve not only be nostalgia, but also hope: hope of meeting again, of hugging tight, of returning home or of bringing yours well 🧳❤️🏡. And if they can’t be together today, at least feel your presence and your love accompanying them wherever they are 🤲✨
Amen. 🙏🎄🕊️✨❤️
