💬 This is the first volume of Kittiah Ganga that Bi has read. I think I'll have to go through many more. Of course, 👍 The language is very good, not too difficult, but it focuses on how to visualize and understand the feelings of character, suffering, fear, awkwardness, sadness, and hope that are the key to the story.
This is a very intense folk-country politics, the use of power to persecute people, the indiscriminate killing, the tragedy has killed nearly two million people, so that throughout the journey the protagonist can end anywhere, win a lot, a lot, a lot, and a lot of heart.
Bi really likes that the character has a very different background, but also has a powerful friendship beyond class. The kindness and generosity of Khun Thir. The honesty and concern of the dedication is very beautiful. Bi thinks that many kinds of relationships can be interpreted. But for Bi himself, it is a very rare relationship today. We meet someone not long but feel clicked and comfortable. There is nothing more precious than a sincere friendship and give without hope of return.

เมื่อได้อ่าน "จวบจนสิ้นแสงแดงดาว" ผมรู้สึกว่านิยายเล่มนี้ไม่ใช่แค่การบอกเล่าเหตุการณ์ในช่วงสงครามและความรุนแรงทางการเมืองของกัมพูชาเท่านั้น แต่ยังสะท้อนความหวังและความสัมพันธ์ที่ลึกซึ้งระหว่างตัวละครหลัก คือรุธิระและอุทิศ ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของชนชั้นที่แตกต่างกันแต่กลับผูกพันกันอย่างแน่นแฟ้น ความรู้สึก ‘สีแดง’ ในเรื่องไม่ได้หมายถึงเพียงความร้อนแรงของสงครามหรือความเจ็บปวดที่เกิดขึ้นเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความหวังใหม่ที่อาจเกิดขึ้นท่ามกลางความสับสนและความมืดมน จากประสบการณ์ของผมเอง การอ่านนิยายที่รวมเอาความละเอียดอ่อนทางอารมณ์และเหตุการณ์ทางประวัติศาสตร์เข้าด้วยกันทำให้รู้สึกเข้าใจบริบทสังคมในยุคสงครามมากขึ้น และเห็นได้ว่าการนำเสนอผ่านมุมมองของตัวละครที่แตกต่างกันนั้น ช่วยเปิดโลกทัศน์ให้กว้างขึ้น ตัวละครอย่างรุธิระที่มาจากชนชั้นสูง และอุทิศ ผู้ซื่อสัตย์ เป็นเหมือนเงาสะท้อนความเป็นมนุษย์ที่แท้จริง ทั้งความกลัว ความลำบาก และความหวังในวันพรุ่งนี้ นอกจากนี้ ฉากการเดินทางลี้ภัยจากพนมเปญสู่ชายแดนไทยยังแสดงให้เห็นว่าความไม่แน่นอนของชีวิตในช่วงสงครามนั้นช่างเปราะบางและเต็มไปด้วยความเสี่ยง แต่ก็ยังมีแง่มุมของความกล้าหาญและมิตรภาพที่คอยค้ำจุน นี่จึงไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องราวสงครามทั่วไป แต่เป็นบทบันทึกหนึ่งของความเป็นมนุษย์ผ่านความสัมพันธ์และการเอาชนะอุปสรรค สุดท้าย ความหวังที่เรื่องนี้นำเสนอแม้จะอยู่ในสถานการณ์ที่มืดมนที่สุดก็ยังเป็นแสงสว่างที่ทำให้ผู้อ่านรู้สึกว่าความรักและความเมตตายังคงอยู่แม้ในยุคที่เต็มไปด้วยการทำลายล้าง เรียกได้ว่า "จวบจนสิ้นแสงแดงดาว" ไม่เพียงแต่ให้ความรู้และความเข้าใจทางประวัติศาสตร์เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้หลายคนเชื่อในพลังของความหวังและมิตรภาพในโลกใบนี้
