Things I Tried to Help Induce Labor
EVERYTHING.
I did all of the things as recommended from 32 weeks on.. nothing worked.
If you asked me with my first I would tell you curb walking is what did it but I honestly don’t think anything helps.
The baby is going to come when they’re ready.
My first came the day after his due date at 8:48 am.
My second came the day of my scheduled induction at 41+2. I was due to go in at 9 am to be induced but went into labor on my own at 6 am so I didn’t need it.
Did I mention he was 9 lbs 13 oz, 22 1/4 inches, my second and in the middle of summer. So everyone thought I was going to go well before my due date anyways.
Everything will happen when it’s supposed to happen. Don’t stress yourself out mama.
Xoxo 😘

As many expectant mothers approach their due dates, the quest to induce labor often leads to trying various methods. Among them, curb walking, acupuncture, and natural remedies such as dates and pregnancy tea are popular. Curb walking is believed to help position the baby for labor, while prenatal massage can induce relaxation and potentially stimulate contractions. Additionally, herbal formulas and practices like warm showers or pressure points are often discussed in pregnancy communities. However, it’s crucial to remember that each pregnancy is unique. Many women find that despite their efforts, labor happens on its own schedule. Medical professionals emphasize the importance of patience and stress the safety of both the mother and baby. Causes of delayed labor can include the baby’s readiness, size, and position, which is often why scheduled inductions may occur. For those seeking to create a positive labor experience, focusing on relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises can be beneficial. It’s also advisable to consult with a healthcare provider before trying any home remedies or interventions, ensuring they’re safe and suitable for your situation. Remember, the best approach is to remain informed and calm, allowing your body to do what it was naturally designed to do.
