Where my Blush girlies at ?

Sometimes I feel like I'm constantly walking a tightrope between a subtle flush and going full clown chic. But honestly, as someone who unapologetically loves blush, I often wonder if there's truly such a thing as 'too much blush.' For me, blush isn't just a pop of color; it's the lifeblood of my makeup look. It brings warmth, dimension, and that healthy glow that just makes you feel good. And if you're like me, half the time you feel like you aren't wearing enough anyway! So, when someone says you wear too much blush, it often feels like a personal attack on my artistic expression! 😉 But let's dive into what a 'blush guide' really means in the modern beauty world. It’s less about strict rules and more about understanding what works for _you_. First, consider your skin tone. For deeper skin tones, vibrant and rich shades like deep berries, fuchsias, and true oranges can look absolutely stunning and often require a bit more pigment to truly show up. Don't be afraid to experiment with brighter colors – they can look incredibly natural and radiant. For lighter skin tones, soft pinks, peaches, and even some light mauves can create a beautiful, ethereal flush. Then there's the application. This is key to avoiding that 'too much blush' look. I usually start by smiling to find the apples of my cheeks. I'll apply a small amount of product here, then blend it upwards along my cheekbones towards my temples. For a more lifted look, you can focus the application higher on the cheekbones. If you're using a powder blush like my beloved E.L.F. Powder Blush Palette, a fluffy brush is your best friend for a diffused, natural finish. For cream or liquid blushes, I love using my fingers or a damp beauty sponge to tap and blend the product into my skin, creating a seamless, skin-like finish. Another trick I've learned is to build up the intensity gradually. It's always easier to add more blush than to take it away! Start with a light hand, apply a thin layer, and then step back from the mirror to assess. If you want more color, apply another light layer until you reach your desired vibrancy. Blending, blending, blending is also paramount. You want your blush to melt into your skin, not sit on top of it. Using a clean brush or sponge to lightly buff the edges can make all the difference. Ultimately, what constitutes 'too much blush' is entirely subjective. If you love how it looks, and it makes you feel confident and beautiful, then it's the perfect amount for you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Makeup is about self-expression and having fun. So, embrace your inner blush girlie and wear as much (or as little!) as your heart desires.

I think for that specific shade and blush the color really compliments your skin! It’s lightweight too so even if you put on “too much” blush on, it’ll still look great!!
